Gamazda — Russian pianist extraordinaire

Gamazda is a Russian musician who creates piano covers of popular songs. I support her work by donating to her on Patreon.

Alexandra Kuznetsova, also known as Gamazda, started playing piano at the age of three. She graduated from Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory, a musical university named after the famous Russian composer.

Gamazda started her YouTube channel about three years ago. Her oldest video was published in April 2019.

Gamazda’s covers are great to listen to while working or studying.

If your attention is directed elsewhere, you can enjoy her music without the distraction lyrics would create.

You can hear the passion and emotion Gamazda brings to her piano covers in her rendition of Roxette’s Listen to Your Heart.

Gamazda often changes her outfit to match the image of the song she is performing.

Gamazda evoked Avril Lavigne’s fashion in Gamazda's cover of Complicated, which she played while standing on a garden swing.

Gamazda’s videos are compelling whether you are actively watching, or playing them in the background as you do something else.

This is especially true when she plays songs whose melodies are as immediately recognizable as Sweet Child of Mine by Guns and Roses.

If anything I’ve said has piqued your interest, go give Gamazda a listen. And if you really like her work, you can support her on Patreon as well.
