Like many political observers, I was struck by the number
of Democrats running for their party’s presidential nomination during the 2020 primary.

The large field of candidates reminded me of the PokeRap, which
introduced the first 151 Pokemon featured in video games, playing
cards, and anime.
I decided to combine the two and create a PolitiRap
featuring presidential candidates, each of which would be paired with an analogous
Pokemon.
I created my PolitiRap in January. It’s less than a
minute long.
