Estes heavily favored to retain Kansas 4th

In the Kansas 4th Congressional District, Laura Lombard (D) is running against incumbent Republican Ron Estes.

Ron Estes served as the Kansas State Treasurer before he became a member of Congress.
 
Lombard helped create an international business development organization in Washington, DC called MENA Consultants Assocation in 2012.
 
The Middle East & North Africa Consultants Association (MENA) educates the US business community about opportunities and business practices in the Middle East and North Africa.
 
The Association also helps businesses find experts who are knowledgeable about the region.
 
The Kansas 4th Congressional District includes Wichita.
 
Republicans generally win elections in the 4th Congressional District.
 
In 2010, Mike Pompeo (R) beat Raj Goyle (D) by 22%.
 
In 2012, Pompeo (R) beat Robert Tillman (D) by 31%.
 
In 2014, Pompeo (R) beat Perry Schuckman (D) by 33%.
 
In 2016, Pompeo (R) beat Daniel Giroux (D) by 31%.
 
In 2018, Ron Estes (R) beat James Thompson (D) by 19%. 
 
A Republican has won each of the past six elections in the Kansas 4th. The average margin is a Republican win by 28%.
 
FiveThirtyEight considers this year's race to be a Solid Republican victory. Their model predicts Estes (R) will win by a 22% margin.
